He was standing in front of the T station entrance pushing his little boy back and forth in a stroller. He was asking $1.70 so I can get on the T. He was already hot and sweaty from wherever he had been. I was already on the up escalator when I saw and heard his request.
I had about $13 on the charlie card. When I reached the top I walked down the stairs and gave it to him. He thanked me and entered the station. Hopefully he will get an air conditioned car.
